'Knights, Castles and Dragons'
Through this theme we will be discovering…
- what castles were for and who lived in them.
- medieval patterns and illuminated letters.
- skills in drawing, painting, collage and model making.
- what life was like in medieval times.
- Welsh legends
- Medieval music and learn about instruments used
- medieval-style dances and take part in class activities that link movement to music.
St David’s Day
- Learn more about St David was and why he is important in Welsh history.
World Book Day
- Share in activities to promote a love for reading and experience a variety of different texts.
- Reading for pleasure and sharing why we liked a book – this is important at home and school

We are making great progress with our reading. Please can you return your reading book to school regularly. It is really important we keep up our good work !
