Knights, Castles and Dragons

In this project the children will learn:

Location and strategic positions of castles in Wales.
Castle designs.
Everyday life inside a castle. How castle communities solve problems and keep peace.
The importance of castles during times of conflict.
Stories and Welsh legends.
Properties and uses of materials in Science and continuing the Spring Bulbs for Schools project.
Designing a book with moving parts for D & T.
Programming and databases in IT. Internet safety.
Your P.E. day will be Monday and we are participating in the 6 week Joy of Moving project with Cardiff City Sport.
Music with Miss Croot on a Friday.
St. David’s Day Eisteddfod.

Please remember to bring your reading book into school with a signed comment in the yellow reading record. As your child moves further along the reading scheme, books take longer to read.
